Privacy notice (beta)

Nudge is in an early, invite-only beta. This page explains in plain terms what the app stores and how it uses it. It is not a formal legal policy, and it may change as the beta develops.

What Nudge stores

• Account and profile information: your name, email address, and the details you give during onboarding (such as your school, term and study preferences).
• Your courses, including grading breakdowns and grade boundaries.
• Your grades and target grades.
• Deadlines, study schedules and study sessions.
• Information taken from syllabuses you scan, such as course details, grading weights, topics and deadlines, once you save it.
• If you connect Canvas: your Canvas address and access token, and the courses and assignments you choose to import. You can disconnect Canvas in Settings.

AI features

To generate AI features (syllabus scanning, study recommendations, study schedules, cram plans and daily facts), the relevant syllabus, course, topic and grade information is sent to the configured AI provider.

Uploaded syllabus files are processed to extract that information. Nudge does not intentionally keep the original file.

Usage analytics

In production, Nudge counts page visits and a few simple actions (for example, that a course was created or an AI feature was used) with Vercel Web Analytics. These events do not include course names, grades, syllabus text or your email address.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from Settings. This removes your Nudge account together with the courses, grades, schedules and deadlines stored with it. Because this is an early beta, we can't promise that every copy held by the services Nudge runs on (for example backups or logs) disappears immediately.

Please keep in mind

This is early beta software. Don't upload or enter anything you don't want processed by the service.
